Finally back on ice in Inzell

The Team Novus athletes have devoted themselves to improving their base fitness and were finally able to step back on the ice during their training camp in Inzell.

For the past few months, the Team Novus athletes have devoted themselves to improving their base fitness and laying the foundation for the rigorous training that lies ahead in the coming months. From cycling, running and inline to gym sessions, bike packing and athletic competitions, different avenues of training and competition have been explored. But, at the end of the day, it’s all about skating, which is why it was great for us all to finally be able to step back on ice during the summer camp in Inzell.

Hard work pays off!

Amidst all the enjoyment, the camp has also brought the athletes face-to-face with some of the most gruelling training. The upcoming training block promises to test their limits and make a real difference when they compete in the winter. Although it may be tough at times (check out the bike sprint video!) they are embracing the challenge wholeheartedly, knowing that it will shape them into stronger and more skilled skaters.

Great vibes and PB’s all around!

Beyond just focusing on the physical aspect, the Inzell camp was also a great opportunity to get together as a team. Good vibes all around and the competitiveness during the trainings really led to better results: PB’s all around!

New equipment

The camp also presented the athletes with a chance to test new equipment. As technology advances, having the right gear can make all the difference in their performance. From blades to suits, every piece of equipment is carefully assessed to ensure it complements their skills and enhances their abilities on the ice. More to come on this soon!

With the groundwork laid and their spirits high, the athletes are now ready to embrace the toughest training block which we will be sure to share with you.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates and developments!
